What You'll Do
- Own the strategy, architecture, and execution of our Salesforce platform and broader Revenue Systems ecosystem.
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers while raising the technical and operational maturity of the function.
- Treat Salesforce as an internal product by developing roadmaps, prioritizing competing requests, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver the highest-impact work.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable system solutions.
- Design systems with long-term scalability in mind, proactively accounting for edge cases and reducing downstream operational overhead and data hygiene issues.
- Evaluate when to build within Salesforce versus leveraging third-party or AI-native tools that integrate with the platform.
- Drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and resource allocation across the Revenue Systems team.
- Establish thoughtful governance around system architecture, automation, and data quality.
- Improve the reliability, usability, and performance of our GTM systems while minimizing technical debt.
- Own the Revenue Systems technology stack, including Salesforce and supporting GTM applications.
- Develop reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into system health, adoption, and operational performance.
- Partner with Revenue Operations leadership to enable forecasting, territory management, reporting, and operational initiatives through scalable system design.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience leading Salesforce or Revenue Systems teams in high-growth SaaS organizations.
- Deep Salesforce expertise, including hands-on experience designing complex Salesforce solutions and a strong understanding of Apex, automation, and platform architecture.
- Experience managing Salesforce developers or systems engineers while driving technical execution.
- Strong product thinking with the ability to prioritize competing requests, develop roadmaps, and balance short-term business needs with long-term platform health.
- Excellent systems design skills with a demonstrated ability to build scalable, maintainable solutions that account for both common workflows and edge cases.
- Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal stakeholders to gather requirements and drive alignment.
- Strong judgment around when to build custom functionality versus leveraging third-party technologies.
- Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and experience evaluating how AI can improve internal operations and workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically, from defining platform direction to diving into technical implementation details when needed.
