Director of Resident Services - Cedarbrook

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate RN or LPN to join us as Director of Resident Services and lead our care team at Cedarbrook Memory care. Full-time opportunity from 9AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday with weekends and other time as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of the Community's resident services department
• Direct the hiring and assignment of duties of licensed and non-licensed staff
• Evaluate residents' condition and care needs to determine the level of assistance needed
• Evaluate resident records on an ongoing basis
• Ensure availability of supplies and equipment related to the resident services
• Provide ongoing teaching and training to staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Maintains a current and unencumbered Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice professional nursing in the residing state
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire
• Previous experience in a supervisory position (Geriatrics preferred)
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
