About the role
As the Director of Rehabilitation at Powerback, you will lead a team of compassionate clinicians dedicated to helping patients regain their strength and independence. You will oversee all rehabilitation services in your facility, provide direct patient care, and ensure the highest standards of therapy are met. This role involves mentoring your clinical team, designing and implementing patient programs, and fostering an environment where both patients and staff can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all rehabilitation services in your assigned facility.
- Provide direct patient care and support your clinical team.
- Mentor and grow your team of therapists and assistants.
- Design, implement, and execute programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patient abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers and make referrals as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adapt to the varying needs of your team and patients while maintaining high standards of care.
- Serve as a teacher and leader, prioritizing both patient outcomes and team development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
- Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of all state practice acts.
- Ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
- Proven ability to effectively manage and motivate staff.

Pay
Posted salary range: USD $80,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 per year.
