What You'll Do
- Lead quality assurance, inspection, and regulatory compliance, serving as the airline’s Chief Inspector.
- Oversight of audits, inspections, and corrective actions, ensuring safety and compliance across all operations.
- Management of the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS), monitoring performance and driving improvements in airworthiness and maintenance standards.
- Management of aircraft records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Overseeing vendor and contract maintenance, setting qualification and performance standards to maintain high-quality service across providers.
- Supporting aircraft acquisition and acceptance, ensuring new aircraft meet stringent quality criteria.
- Contributing to the Safety Management System, promoting a just culture and effective risk management.
- Recruitment, development, and leadership of a skilled quality team, setting the direction for future growth and excellence.
What You'll Need
- Current FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
- Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible aviation maintenance, inspection, quality assurance, or airworthiness experience
- Minimum of five years of leadership experience within an air carrier, repair station, aircraft manufacturer, military aviation organization, or comparable aviation operation
