About the role

Responsible for leading a team of software developers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and quality assurance engineers to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development process, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews to improve code quality and maintain consistency across projects.
  • Work closely with product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement visual design elements and user interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the software.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive the development process.
  • Debug and resolve production issues, providing timely support to users.
  • Document code and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in software development.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance with industry standards.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex problems.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Selenium.

Pay
