Accountabilities
- Lead project management strategy and execution across a portfolio of initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives.
- Oversee project managers, improve operational processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.
- Monitor project health through schedule tracking, budget management, cost analysis, resource planning, and capacity management.
- Identify project risks, provide recommendations, and implement solutions to maintain successful delivery.
- Create and maintain project status reporting, including budget analysis, cost tracking, variance reviews, expense approvals, and purchase order management.
- Proactively address project challenges and remove obstacles to ensure successful product delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and leadership teams.
- Develop and implement project management best practices, processes, templates, and operational improvements.
- Communicate project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and action plans across all levels of the organization.
- Evaluate resource needs and recommend solutions to support project success.
- Hire, train, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers.
- Establish team goals, performance expectations, and development plans while providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing project management culture.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is an experienced project management leader with a strong background in software development, consulting, and client-facing delivery environments.
- Demonstrated success managing complex initiatives, leading teams, and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
- Master’s degree required, preferably in Telecommunications or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the sponsored position or a Project Management leadership role.
- Proven experience leading project management teams supporting software development products in a client-facing consulting or professional services environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, designers, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Strong customer focus and experience delivering solutions for external clients or third-party users.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, executives, and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and drive projects to completion.
- Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, budgeting, resource allocation, and delivery processes.
- Experience building scalable solutions for consumer-facing digital experiences.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in the sports industry is a plus.
- Able to work remotely during standard business hours, typically 9 AM to 6 PM EST.
