Director of Product, Subscription & Auth Platforms
As the Director of Product Management, you will lead the technical product strategy and execution for the foundational pillars of our eCommerce platform: Authentication, Product Catalog, and Digital Order Management. You will be the product architect of our Single View of the Customer, ensuring seamless, secure identity management and instant recognition of digital entitlements across Web, Mobile (iOS/Android), Retail stores, and partner channels.
About the Role
- Strategic Identity Roadmap: Own the strategy for Authentication and Authorization, exploring best-in-class solutions (e.g., Passkeys, passwordless) to reduce friction while maintaining a hardened security posture across Web, Mobile, and OEM channels.
- Digital Order Management (DOMS): Lead the system of record for all digital transactions, architecting logic to ingest and reconcile orders from disparate sources (Web checkout, App Store IAP, OEM partner keys) into a single, accurate "Source of Truth."
- Entitlement Engine: Own the logic determining "who has access to what," managing the complex mapping between transactions and instant activation of digital rights and permissions across all platforms.
- Universal Product Catalog: Architect a flexible, centralized catalog defining digital SKUs and bundles, built for business agility to pivot and launch new offerings ahead of competitors.
- Mobile Store & Partner Strategy: Lead technical integrations with Apple/Google and OEM providers, navigating third-party receipt validation and entitlement syncing to maximize platform capabilities.
- Strategic Technical Leadership: Partner with Engineering to future-proof our custom AWS microservices architecture against shifting consumer needs and global scalability requirements.
- Measure Consumer Experiences: Design and launch customer-first front-end experiences for authentication and account management, measuring performance against business KPIs.
- Lead and develop a team of product managers, setting a high bar for product thinking, customer empathy, and delivery rigor.
- Define a compelling multi-year product vision for subscription management and authentication, translating it into a prioritized roadmap aligned with Engineering, Design, and Leadership.
- Partner with Engineering to dive into technical services and capabilities, ensuring solutions align with business and consumer needs.
- Act as the connective tissue across eCommerce Product, Engineering, Legal, InfoSec, Analytics, and Finance, shaping platform capabilities based on business needs and communicating constraints early.
- Make hard prioritization calls, balancing innovation, technical debt, and customer experience improvements.
- Own metrics from authentication to subscription management, tying behavioral data to topline business KPIs like retention and ARPU.
- Represent your domain in leadership forums, including planning sessions and executive deep dives, with data-driven recommendations.
