Director of Product Management - Adobe Builders eXperience (ABX)
About the role
This is a build role focused on developing strategy, building the organizational framework, and setting the bar for what agentic development looks like at Adobe. The role involves owning the builders' experience strategy, the platform spanning all three modes of agentic development, the objectives and key results (OKRs), the relationship with the builders, and execution.
Responsibilities
- Transform an articulated-but-evolving vision into written strategy, roadmap, and objective measures of success.
- Design and implement the operating model for the team, ensuring it is agentic itself.
- Own the decision process for which external models and tools we deploy, making high-conviction calls amid an embarrassment of riches.
- Streamline communication and automate the SDLC, removing bottlenecks and designing moments where humans stay in the loop.
- Build and lead AI pods with real ownership, some led by non-PMs and PDE profiles, not the classic backlog-and-execute approach.
- Grow the PM team, setting the hiring bar and the culture as you go.
Requirements
Senior PM leadership with a track record of building strategy and teams from scratch. Technical credibility with builders, deep technical fluency in agentic systems, comfort debating latency-vs-accuracy tradeoffs with principal engineers, strategic clarity under ambiguity, and comfort operating lean and unconventionally.
Qualifications
A technical degree (CS, Math, Engineering, or related) or equivalent experience. Comfortable collaborating across the whole agentic stack: agentic coding, CI/CD, build systems, observability, evaluations, orchestration.
Skills
Strategic clarity under ambiguity, ability to operate lean and unconventionally, boundary-less collaboration, and a driver of reinvention.
