The Director of Product, Gaming (New Products) role is based in the United States. This is a senior product leadership role focused on defining and launching new gaming initiatives at the intersection of PC gaming and the open web. Key responsibilities include:
- Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a new gaming-focused product area.
- Build and scale early-stage products by translating high-level strategy into actionable plans for design, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
- Lead and manage distributed product teams, fostering strong collaboration between design, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Develop a deep understanding of the PC gaming ecosystem, including audience segments, distribution channels, and monetization models, to inform product direction.
- Establish and own key product metrics, leveraging both qualitative insights and quantitative data to guide prioritization and decision-making.
- Communicate product strategy, trade-offs, and performance clearly to leadership, cross-functional partners, and external audiences when needed.
- Drive alignment across stakeholders, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a strong point of view on product success factors.
Requirements include:
- 7+ years of product management experience with a strong track record of delivering successful consumer or platform products.
- 5+ years of experience in or closely around the video gaming industry, ideally with exposure to PC/desktop gaming ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience building 0→1 products or launching new business lines, including early product-market fit discovery and scaling.
- 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams with proven people leadership and team development skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience defining and tracking product metrics to inform strategy and roadmap decisions.
- Ability to operate effectively in both strategic and executional contexts, moving seamlessly between vision-setting and hands-on delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders and external audiences.
- Passion for gaming and strong understanding of player behavior, market trends, and gaming communities.
