Director of Product

About the role

Lead the development and strategy of an innovative healthcare technology platform in the DMV area. This role will shape a product that integrates with EHR systems while delivering seamless workflows and interfaces that extend beyond traditional EHR capabilities. The Director of Product can work remotely but must live in the Washington DC area and travel in for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a healthcare platform integrating with EHR systems.
• Drive development of innovative workflows and user interfaces that enhance provider and patient experiences beyond standard EHR functionality.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable and impactful solutions.
• Leverage emerging AI technologies to create forward-thinking product capabilities and improve efficiency.
• Translate customer and market insights into actionable product enhancements and features.
• Guide product lifecycle from ideation through launch, iteration, and optimization.
• Build and mentor a high-performing product team while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, with a strong leadership background.
• Proven experience working within healthcare technology, specifically with EHR integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to build or scale platforms that complement EHR systems with additional workflows and capabilities.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience leveraging AI in product development.
• Previous startup experience with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Pay

$200,000 - $235,000 base salary + Bonus + Equity
