Director of Product

About the role

We are a rapidly growing, Boston-based medical technology company using AI to enable clinicians to make informed decisions on cardiovascular care—leading to better patient outcomes, improved quality of care, and reduced healthcare costs. As Senior Director of Product, you’ll lead our product portfolio end-to-end by setting the vision, guiding execution, and delivering market-ready releases that create real value for clinicians. You’ll manage and mentor a team of Product Managers while partnering closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Clinical. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role for someone with deep software-as-a-medical-device product expertise who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution in a regulated, fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and vision for AI-driven cardiovascular care solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers to deliver clinically meaningful, market-ready releases.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Clinical teams to drive alignment and execution.
• Apply operational discipline to planning, prioritization, and software development release management.
• Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams on product positioning, launches, and enablement.
• Articulate product strategy and customer value clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience within Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), preferably in medical imaging.
• Experience leading teams of product managers.
• Proven track record of defining, launching, and scaling successful SaMD products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills and ability to drive alignment in complex, matrixed environments.

Work Location

This role is based out of our office in Boston, MA. For local candidates, we operate in a hybrid model with regular in-office collaboration (Mondays and Wednesdays encouraged, with flexibility for additional days). Candidates outside of the Boston area are invited to apply as fully remote employees, with occasional in-person meetings as needed.

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $195,000–$230,000. Compensation will be influenced by factors including internal pay equity, job-related knowledge, skills, education, relevant experience, certifications, and geography.
