About the role
The Director of Procurement is responsible for overseeing all procurement activities within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee supplier relationships and manage vendor contracts
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency
- Manage procurement budget and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and secure necessary supplies and services
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Proven track record of successful procurement initiatives
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
