Responsibilities
- Analyze and manage the power supply portfolio to ensure accuracy, cost alignment, and overall performance
- Develop strategies that balance cost, risk, and reliability while identifying new opportunities within existing contracts
- Monitor energy markets, industry trends, and policy changes to inform decision-making and long-term planning
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including Great River Energy, to optimize power supply and program outcomes
- Evaluate and enhance retail energy programs to ensure competitiveness and value for members
- Provide insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives such as rate design, budgeting, and demand response programs
Compensation & Benefits
Target Salary Range: $134,000 - $180,000 annually

Position Requirements
- Prior power supply market experience, along with knowledge of electric utility processes, practices, issues, and policies, is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of valuation techniques and quantitative analysis methods
- Strong understanding of energy markets, market instruments, and applicable market rules
- Able to analyze and assess correlations between risks and opportunities across market conditions
- Familiarity with market data sources and experience using analytical tools and systems to support decision-making
- A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or engineering is preferred
