Director of Platform Engineering | Remote

Full-time, remote role with a commitment of 10-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and evolution of multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
• Lead and grow a high-performing Infrastructure/Platform Engineering team.
• Build infrastructure as code using Terraform for reproducible environments.
• Design and improve CI/CD systems for reliable software delivery.
• Build observability across metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
• Define and drive reliability practices including incident response and disaster recovery.

Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience in building and operating production infrastructure.
• Leading engineering teams in high-growth environments.
• Deep expertise with AWS, GCP, or multi-cloud production environments.
• Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, containers, and modern CI/CD platforms.
• Proven experience building highly available, observable, and resilient production systems.

Pay

$350K - $500K/yr
