Director of Planning and Development

About the Role

The Director of Planning and Development provides leadership and management for the City of Bee Cave's planning, engineering, building inspections, code compliance, GIS, and business development functions. This role reports to the Assistant City Manager and offers strategic direction for current and long-range planning initiatives, oversees development review and permitting, and manages departmental operations and budget. The Director serves as staff liaison to the Planning and Zoning Commission and collaborates with the City Manager, City Council, developers, businesses, residents, and regional partners on growth, land use, and development matters.
