Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a comprehensive planned giving program, cultivating and managing a portfolio of major and legacy gift donors while identifying new planned giving opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with donors, financial advisors, attorneys, accountants, and other professional partners to expand awareness and support for the Foundation's planned giving initiatives.
- Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert in planned giving, developing donor proposals, supporting estate gift administration, and collaborating on major fundraising campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of successful experience in planned giving, major gifts, development, or a related field such as wealth management, estate planning, accounting, or financial planning.
- Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
- Demonstrated success in personally cultivating, soliciting, and closing major and planned gifts.
- Ability to travel regionally as needed.
