NewYork‑Presbyterian, one of the nation's leading academic healthcare systems, seeks an experienced and visionary Director of Planned Giving to lead and grow a comprehensive gift planning program across all NYP campuses. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic fundraising professional to partner with hospital leadership, physicians, trustees, and development colleagues to secure transformational philanthropic investments that advance patient care, research, and medical education. Reporting to the Vice President of Development and working closely with senior fundraising leadership, the Director of Planned Giving will serve as a key member of the development team, driving strategy, donor engagement, stewardship, and program innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage NewYork-Presbyterian's system-wide Planned Giving program.
- Responsible for the recruitment, selection and orientation of employees in assigned areas.
- Manage the Planned Giving team, with a focus on reaching Development’s annual revenue goal.
- Cultivate, solicit, and close a broad range of planned gifts, including bequests, charitable remainder
