About the role
The Director of People will oversee the organization's people strategy, talent initiatives, and organizational development programs. They will work closely with executive leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and workforce planning, champion an inclusive, high-performance, and employee-focused culture, and lead strategic HR initiatives that support business growth and long-term organizational success.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the organization's people strategy aligned with business objectives.
Partner with executive leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and workforce planning.
Champion an inclusive, high-performance, and employee-focused culture.
Lead strategic HR initiatives that support business growth.
Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, and leadership development.
Develop programs to attract, retain, and grow top talent.
Drive performance management and employee development initiatives.
Strengthen employer branding and employee value proposition.
Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture.
Lead employee engagement, recognition, and wellbeing initiatives.
Develop programs that enhance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Ensure an exceptional employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
Oversee HR operations, policies, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Improve HR systems, processes, and operational efficiency.
Utilize HR analytics to support strategic decision-making.
Lead change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
Build leadership capability across the organization.
Manage and develop a high-performing People & Culture team.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
Master's Degree or MBA is highly desirable.
SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification is an advantage.
Minimum of 10–15 years' progressive HR experience including senior leadership responsibilities.
Proven experience leading people strategy within a growing organization.
Strong knowledge of talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and HR compliance.
Experience leading change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
Exceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
