Director of People & Agent Operations
About the role
Talentful is seeking a strategic leader to drive People Operations at the forefront of AI-driven HR. The ideal candidate will transform the People function into a highly operational and data-driven entity, blending human expertise with AI tools.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement culture strategies to foster a high-performance environment across two geographies.
Design and optimize compensation architecture, including pay bands, equity, benchmarking, and total rewards philosophy.
Build and manage retention and internal mobility initiatives to ensure Talentful remains a top choice for employees.
Oversee learning and development programs, including skills frameworks, career paths, and manager development.
Shape employee experience through intentional design of onboarding, day-to-day interactions, and offboarding processes.
Identify opportunities for AI agents to automate People processes and set standards for AI-native People operations.
Collaborate with AI agents to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the People function.
Requirements
At least 8 years of experience in People/HR leadership, with at least 3 years in a professional services or agency environment.
Proven ability to build or transform people systems at scale (200+ employees).
Strong analytical skills, comfortable with data, dashboards, and evidence-based decision-making.
Genuine interest in AI, automation, and operational technology.
Experience managing across multiple geographies preferred.
Qualifications
Proven track record of successful HR transformation or system-building.
Experience in compensation design, learning and development, and culture strategy.
Ability to design and implement effective workflows and feedback loops.
Curiosity about AI and automation, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
