Director of Operations (Multi-Site Medical Practice Manager)

About the Role

The Director of Operations oversees the business functions of 4–10 urgent-care centers in the Nashville, TN market, ensuring service quality, financial performance, resource utilization, and a superior patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient flow and monitor wait times to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Identify opportunities to expand business and scope of services.
• Maintain high team-member morale and a professional, efficient working environment.
• Participate in administrative and business operations meetings.
• Counsel, discipline, or recommend termination of team members as needed.
• Own performance results in patient experience, volume, financials, and service standards.
• Serve as the communication liaison between the home office and center team members.
• Understand and fill in for all center positions when necessary.
• Act as the subject-matter expert for training and systems (UltiPro, DocuTAP, Healthstream, front-desk processes, Occupational Health).
• Implement home-office policies and operational guidelines.
• Lead Occupational Health sales and grassroots marketing with support from service-line leaders.
• Supervise all team members within the assigned area.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of healthcare management experience; urgent or primary care experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of workflow and scheduling.
• Ability to maintain a highly structured environment.
