Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbia, MD, responsible for overseeing daily business operations and ensuring that organizational processes run efficiently and effectively. This role includes managing and optimizing workflows, monitoring performance metrics, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet strategic and operational goals. The Director of Operations will lead budgeting and resource allocation activities, partner with leadership on planning and execution, and maintain high standards for customer service and client satisfaction. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve identifying areas for process improvement, implementing operational best practices, guiding and mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Qualifications Strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization and performance monitoring.Solid Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and evaluating operational effectiveness.Proven Team Management capabilities, with experience leading, coaching, and developing diverse teams.Experience with Budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to support organizational goals.Customer Service orientation, with a focus on quality, responsiveness, and client relationship management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.Prior experience in a senior operations or leadership role is highly beneficial.
