About the role

The Director of Operations Home Health is responsible for leading the local provider in delivering high-quality care to the community. This role ensures the successful execution of operations, manages staff performance, and oversees office management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local chief executive agent, contributing to the overall success of the company.
• Lead the local provider in providing better care to the community.
• Ensure the daily execution of operations.
• Manage operations, services, personnel performance, and office management.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed physician, registered nurse, or possess a bachelor's degree.
• Must have at least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in health service administration.
• Must not have been employed in the last year as an administrator with another operation at the time any enforcement action was taken against the business.
• Must have knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local laws governing home care operations.
• Must have intermediate technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Education and Experience

• Possess a licensed physician, registered nurse, licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or a licensed nursing home administrator with at least one year of management and supervisory experience.
• Previous experience in home health care or hospice programs is preferred.
• Education and experience vary by state, but generally require a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, and at least one year of supervisory experience.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid state driver license.
• Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
• Must be able to safely drive in all types of weather conditions.
