JOB PURPOSE
The Director of Operations Fulfillment is responsible for effective and timely shipping/receiving, inventory, assembly, and delivery at the local level. This position will coordinate and manage the efforts of the branch personnel to ensure the provision of quality customer service while maintaining safe and efficient operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and direct the operations fulfillment team, assuring a prominent level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Hire, develop, coach, and manage staff performance.
- Oversee all warehouse activities including shipping/receiving, physical inventory, product returns, and availability of clean rental/demo equipment.
- Provide all required inventory reports within the assigned territory.
- Provide insights and action plans to improve operations being measured.
- Work cross functionally to coordinate equipment procurement and delivery, to ensure quality and timely provision of service.
- Partner with cross functional leaders for delivery planning of equipment orders to maintain order processing efficiency and deliver revenue goals.
- In conjunction with all other Numotion departments, address and resolve escalations in the timeframes outlined in procedures.
- Ensure quality to increase customer satisfaction and improve turnaround times.
- Assure distribution routes are effectively scheduled and managed.
- Lead and implement Numotion’s best practices and drives universal operational processes within the territory.
- Utilize reporting database to optimize business outcomes.
- Assure direct reports effectively support the needs of internal and external customers
- Ensure all activities and operations are carried out in strict compliance with company and government processes/regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission.
- Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five years of operational work experience.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience, including leading, mentoring and/or coaching.
- Must possess a valid State Driver’s License, and acceptable driving record.
- Must be willing and able to travel frequently across geographical zone locations.
- Able to remain focused while handling multiple tasks, responsibilities, and projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of complex rehab equipment and products.
- Demonstrated technical or mechanical knowledge.
- Basic understanding of financial reporting.
- Experience in or exposure to healthcare management.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a matrixed environment, working with cross functional team members to achieve shared goals.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent and leading the acceptance of change within a rapidly changing environment.
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to effectively utilize technology and learn and adapt to innovative technology environments.
- Prior experience with physical inventory and remote inventory management.
PHYSICAL WORK REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to meet essential functions of the position with reasonable accommodations as necessary.
- Must be highly mobile, able to access all areas of the premises.

- Ability to work over 8 hours in a workday, and over 40 hours in a work week, as necessary.

- Ability to talk or hear/listen.
- Ability to use eyes to see, have close vision, and adjust focus.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
