Director of Operations, Electronics - Phoenix Phoenix, AZ, United States | req32889 We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Operations to direct, plan, and lead operations in production and maintenance at our site in Phoenix, AZ. As the site Director, you will be responsible for communicating with the customer on overall site operations, in addition to the overall safety, financial, reliability, and compliance performance of a large installation of multiple plants, backup systems, and supply systems. What you will enjoy doing* You will manage the communications with the customer on operational concerns for the overall siteCreate and manage complex plans to achieve business objectivesEnsure compliance with safety policies, environmental regulations, and quality requirements for all plants in your siteDevelop and support Lean Six Sigma and cost reduction projectsFurther, you will analyze financial performance, manage fixed and variable costs for the plant, and advise electronics management on budget needs for both CAPEX and OPEX spendingTrack, report, and drive to completion action items from various programs and investigationsTrack financial performance of the site versus plan for both normal operations and the various projects in executionAnd you will mentor your individual plant managers growing their abilitiesSet goals and measure performance for your plant teamsMeasure site performance against KPI’s and develop plans to improve performance at all levels of your team What Makes You Great You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with an Engineering Degree being a plusAt least ten (10) years of experience in bulk and on-site operationsAt least five (5) years of plant management experienceStrong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills are a mustYou have excellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong planning and execution abilities are neededThe candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to drive project execution and strategic initiativesExperience in the semi-conductor industry is requiredThis role requires some travel, being on call, and carrying a cell phone Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
