Director of Operations - East

About The Role

At OpenWorks, our Director of Operations plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence across a multi-state region. You'll lead a team of Operations Managers, partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Experience, Provider Growth, and Finance, and ensure exceptional service delivery for our customers while supporting profitable growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of Operations Managers while driving accountability and performance across multiple territories.
• Own regional operational performance, including customer retention, territory growth, provider performance, and operational KPIs.
• Develop and execute regional operational strategies, priorities, and performance initiatives aligned with company objectives.
• Build strong partnerships with Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, and Provider Growth to drive business results and elevate the customer experience.
• Analyze business performance data to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and implement continuous improvements.
• Lead strategic initiatives, business reviews, customer escalations, and operational planning that drive long-term success.
• Champion operational consistency, scalable processes, and leadership development across your region.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of operations leadership experience in a service-based or multi-site environment.
• 3+ years leading leaders, with a track record of coaching high-performing management teams.
• Experience driving operational performance through data, KPIs, and process improvement.
• Experience developing and executing regional operational strategies that deliver measurable business results.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer experience, operational execution, and business results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
