Responsibilities
- Interview and hire new employees
- Receive and resolve guest complaints
- Assign duties to department heads and observe performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures
- Support the General Manager in establishing and monitoring policies and guidelines in the day-to-day operation of the hotel
- Step in and act as General Manager in their absence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hotel management or a related field
- At least 4 years of management experience in the hotel industry
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and understanding English
- Familiarity with OSHA, local Department of Health regulations, and relevant current laws governing the handling of hazardous substances
- Team player willing to step up and aid team members when needed
Physical Requirements
More than half of the time spent standing/walking, carrying/lifting up to 25 pounds, bending/twisting, and climbing stairs.
Schedule
Must accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
