Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with General Manager to develop and execute strategic company goals.
- Lead, Grow, and Manage the Operations team members for strong execution and consistent growth.
- Network with other Operations leaders and key company stakeholders to ensure consistency and growth among all districts.
- Partner with Sales Manager and Fleet Manager to work in a 'team approach' during all facets of your role.
- Lay out a detailed plan to ensure all Commodities are being tracked and used at rates that are compliant with Greg’s Services (a Winter Services, LLC Company) benchmarks.
- Lay out a detailed plan for in/out of all storm operations, to prevent unnecessary overtime.
- Understand all branch profit and loss reports (P&L).
- Help develop and actively manage company budgets while evaluating efficiency and profitability by service line to identify areas of improvement.
- Understand and be committed to providing services that meet or exceed the company standards.
- Develop and ensure that all safety policies are enforced with regard to all company operations.
- Work with the human resources department to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel, and oversee employee training programs.
- Collaborate with human resources to develop and implement staff evaluation parameters.
- Communicate with department heads to develop financial plans and ensure district compliance.
- Maintain monitoring company revenue margins and conducting budget reviews to maximize profits.
- Oversee client support services.
- Manage procurement and resource allocation.
- All other duties as assigned.
- 10+ years of experience in landscape and snow removal operations.
- Valid Driver's License required; CDL preferred.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written skills.
- Must have excellent oral communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple crews simultaneously.
- Must be computer literate, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
