Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Operational oversight of non-clinical departments and service lines
• Collaboration on business development and strategic planning initiatives
• Management of policies and practices to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
• Development and building of relationships across various departments
• Engagement in recruitment and on-boarding efforts for staff
• Maintenance of an annual operating budget and collaboration with medical chairs
• Authorization of purchases and use of supplies and equipment
• Participation in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of performance metrics, budgetary, and volume dashboards
• Support of service line research infrastructure development and initiatives
• Implementation of policies and practices for assigned areas to ensure compliance with Medical Center standards and external requirements
• Promotion and provision of quality customer service
• Monitoring and evaluation of quality improvement activities
• Management of team performance and analysis against key performance indicators and metrics
• Fostering a collaborative environment to address performance deficiencies and providing coaching/mentoring
• Analysis and identification of opportunities to increase operational efficiencies
• Undertaking special projects and assignments as directed
• Development of operations strategy and oversight of process improvement opportunities

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience: 5 years in a supervisory or management level position in a hospital, performing similar duties and functions, including business management and responsibility for maintaining accreditation and regulatory standards
• Demonstrated career progression with increasing levels of responsibility
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree, required; Master’s Degree Preferred
