Director of Operations

About the role

The Director of Operations will provide strategic leadership for operational teams while ensuring reliable service delivery, operational efficiency, employee safety, and regulatory compliance. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to drive growth, improve performance, and support the expansion of our broadband and telecommunications network.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across network, field, and technical service teams.
• Drive operational excellence through performance metrics, process improvements, and accountability.
• Oversee service installations, repairs, restoration efforts, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Support network expansion, capital projects, and operational growth initiatives.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Manage operational budgets, resources, and workforce development programs.
• Develop and mentor leaders while building high-performing teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
• Experience leading multi-functional teams and managing operational performance.
• Telecommunications, broadband, utility, or infrastructure industry experience preferred.
• Strong background in project management, budgeting, safety, and process improvement.
• Proven ability to lead change, improve efficiency, and deliver results.
