Compensation: $150,000-$160,000 per year. This role will be based out of Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; or Detroit, MI.
About the role
The Operations Director will be responsible for directing and implementing company policy to ensure compliance with contract responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage costs and revenue to meet company top and bottom-line financial goals, including:
- Expanding business within Strategic Accounts / Clients
- Negotiating increases with Customers
- Reduction of operating costs and/or changes in schedules or processes
- Direct operations, both directly and through subordinate managers, to carry out contractual responsibilities and profitability that meet the Customer’s contractual expectations and exceed their service expectations, resulting in complete Customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees by implementing comprehensive safety, recognition, and training programs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, such as FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.
- Manage budget compliance for identified Accounts.
- Manage and retain a qualified staff (individually or through subordinate managers) that is reasonably satisfied with position and compensation, understands and is trained for their role, and has a clear line of sight to the goals and expectations of the company. Recognize the impact of their contributions to the Company.
- Provide managerial authority over Regional Operations Director(s).
- Participate in the development and implementation of company goals and strategic vision.
- Travel is required for this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 5-10 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license may be required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Conduct performance evaluations; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
- Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and frequently required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
