About the role

We are seeking an inspiring and motivated leader to oversee approximately 12 dialysis centers throughout the greater Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina area. This role manages 200 teammates and holds complete accountability for a $40-$50MM P&L. As a Regional Operations Director (ROD), you will provide strategic and tactical leadership, counsel, and direction to field management to ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic, and ethical patient care.

This position identifies and develops strategic growth opportunities, monitors division performance, and collaborates closely with the Divisional Vice President or SVP to align competitive strategies with DaVita’s mission and values. You will have budget and P&L accountability and serve as a key member of DaVita’s field management team.

Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a team of approximately 10-12 direct reports to ensure quality and compliant patient care.
Address top growth priorities, patient census, and lead successful operational conversions on acquisitions.
Drive key metrics and outcomes for the assigned book of business.
Develop and execute strategic operating plans and goals for assigned division facilities.
Meet labor budget targets.
Review, analyze, and proactively address gaps in service excellence, policies, and procedures; identify issues and implement solutions.
Manage financial and revenue growth, operations, labor management, contract management, and clinical outcomes within assigned facilities.
Maintain awareness of competition and proactively assess division strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT).
Lead a socially responsible business that strives to be a role model for American healthcare.

Collaborate directly with facility administrators (FAs) in clinics to address employee and patient concerns, driving regional goals and standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Available for moderate travel (25%-50% overnight).
