About the role
Catholic Charities Family and Community Services (CCFCS) is a regional agency dedicated to serving the community since 1920. We support individuals and families through various programs and services, advocating for those in need and fostering partnerships with faith communities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures in purchasing, facilities management, and other administrative functions.
- Serve as an active member of the management team in planning, problem-solving, and ongoing communication for purchasing, operations, and related functions.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and execute the duties common to all supervisory positions, including regular meetings with direct reports, completing annual performance appraisals, and providing appropriate feedback.
- Develop, implement, and maintain residential sites and capital improvement project budgets.
- Serve as the project manager for various administrative projects, ensuring projects are within scope, timeline, budget limits, and forecasts for facility improvements and transitions.
- Directly oversee purchasing to ensure materials are ordered, projects are designed and planned, and funds are available and within limits of the project.
- Serve as the lead administrator for facilities and work order management systems, coordinating purchasing processes, system tracking, and approval workflows.
- Coordinate contract bids and requests for proposals to ensure all regulatory requirements are met and quality pricing for materials and operational expenses.
- Supports the procurement process, contracts, and ongoing communication with vendors and contractors.
- Facilitate inventory management, tracking, and accountability for agency assets, including depreciation tracking and updates for program budgets.
- Maintain safety schedules, supplies, and required materials to comply with all safety and security requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve professional competencies through learning, supervision, in-service training, and participation in conferences and workshops.
- Support and foster the Agency's Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategic Plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Facilities, or Operations Management.
- Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License.
- CPM, CPSM, or PMP certification preferred.
