What You'll Do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Foster a culture centered on patient safety, quality outcomes, compassion, and family-centered care.
- Lead, mentor, and develop nursing leaders and staff to achieve their highest professional potential.
- Establish, implement, and evaluate standards of nursing practice that support exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Oversee departmental operations, budgeting, staffing, and resource management while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
- Promote performance improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and ongoing quality management efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, licensing, and organizational standards.
- Promote staff engagement, professional development, and continuous learning.
- Serve as a trusted leader and role model who exemplifies professionalism, integrity, accountability, and service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a related healthcare field
- Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of five (5) years of Registered Nurse experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive nursing leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive organizational outcomes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience implementing effective operational strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty nursing certification in neonatal or related clinical practice
