Director of Nursing RN
Responsibilities
- Provide overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to patients and residents.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the clinical department.
- Maintain quality care and regulatory compliance.
- Manage and control budget.
- Provide leadership and oversight of the center's clinical staff.
- Serve as the Nursing Home Administrator's backup as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or above required.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
- One (1+) years nursing leadership experience required.
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.
