Director of Nursing RN

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to patients and residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing / sub-acute care nursing center (all units)
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the clinical department, ensuring quality care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing and controlling budget
• Provide leadership and oversight of the center's clinical staff
• Serve as the Nursing Home Administrator's backup as needed

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or above required
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
• One (1+) years nursing leadership experience required
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting strongly preferred
• Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software
