About the role

The Rehabilitation Center at Sandalwood is a short-term and long-term care community located in the Ridge at 38th, an emerging and eclectic district in Wheat Ridge. We are seeking compassionate and skilled members to join our team and share our goal to provide our residents with the highest quality of services and our staff with the best possible workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and foster a culture of placing our residents and guests first in the daily decisions involving their care and life in the community.
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care and functions for the Nursing Department.
  • Partner with residents, physicians, and other members of the Interdisciplinary Team to coordinate and deliver care based on the resident’s desires and clinical needs, ensuring care is provided within the scope of current Federal, State, and Local standards.
  • Create a culture where people are at the heart of our decision-making process.
  • Build your team: interview, select, and train the right people.
  • Lead your team: drive talent management and development while serving as a coach and mentor.
  • Inspire your team: motivate your team to deliver the best care to our residents.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate composure, customer focus, patience, and the ability to gain trust and establish rapport with residents and your team.
  • Seek out environments or opportunities where you can be compassionate and humble.
  • Have a hospitality-focused mindset, a proven track record of systems thinking, and change management skills.
  • Hold 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in a long-term care environment.
  • Show working knowledge of person-centered care principles and practices.
  • Graduate from an accredited college of Nursing and hold a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado with a current BLS certification.

Pay

The target compensation for this role is $95,000-$120,000 and will reflect the selected candidate's experience, skills, and education.
