The Director of Nursing oversees all nursing services and ensures residents receive safe, consistent, and compassionate care. You will join a supportive administrative team invested in quality outcomes, staff development, and creating a strong, dependable care environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead all nursing services within the skilled nursing facility
- Maintain the highest standards of clinical quality and resident safety
- Support, guide, and develop nursing staff and nurse managers
- Ensure compliance with state and federal long-term care regulations
- Review incidents promptly and ensure appropriate follow-up
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Prepare for and participate in state inspections
- Ensure proper staffing, training, and documentation
- Serve as a visible, supportive leader focused on care excellence
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Prior DON or ADON experience preferred
- Skilled nursing/long-term care experience required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and make sound clinical decisions

Pay
$90,000 – $104,000 per year
