Director of Nursing - Hospice

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Director of Nursing for their Hospice organization. The position can be based in Taos, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Vegas, Raton, or Alamogordo. The ideal candidate should have experience as an Executive Director, Director of Operations, Administrator, Director of Nursing / DON, Director of Patient Care Services / DOPCS, or Director of Clinical Services / DOCS with Home Care experience.

Requirements

• A Registered Nurse is required.
• Medicare Hospice management experience is a must.
• An excellent understanding of state/federal hospice regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day clinical operations.
• Ensure compliance with all state / federal regulations.
• Hire, train, mentor staff.
