Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for all nursing services across six ICF locations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary leaders to promote positive resident outcomes and coordinated care.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, certification standards, infection prevention protocols, and organizational policies.
- Manage nursing department staffing, scheduling, labor resources, and 24/7 coverage to meet resident care needs.
- Oversee nursing-related quality improvement initiatives, clinical reviews, and corrective action plans to enhance care delivery.
- Serve as the nursing liaison to pharmacy services, including oversight of medication management processes, medication errors, and pharmacy compliance.
- Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure effective utilization of resources.
- Serve as pivotal player in clinical leadership committees (e.g., Quality Improvement Committee, Infection Prevention Committee, Corporate Compliance Committee, Pharmacy Committee, Safety Committee, Clinical Leadership/Interdisciplinary Committee,) as assigned.
- Oversee nursing assessments, admissions processes, clinical documentation, and delegated nursing programs to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum five (5) years of direct RN and/or LPN nursing experience in a hospital, long-term care, long-term acute care, or ID/DD setting.
- Minimum three (3) years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing required. Maintain licensure renewal with active status and without disciplinary action is required to maintain employment in this position.
- Working knowledge of CMS regulations and healthcare compliance standards.
- BLS/CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Valid Ohio driver's license required. Ability to travel throughout the state of Ohio as needed.
