About the Role

The Director of Nursing plans, organizes, develops, and directs the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of the residents’ total regimen of care.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting.
• Ensure adequate staffing of licensed practical and/or registered nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, medications, and safety equipment for each shift to maintain quality care.

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current Illinois unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Three years of experience in a supervisory healthcare role (preferred).

Sign-on bonus: $12,000.
