Required Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Colorado RN License or Compact RN License required
  • 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience required
  • Strong critical thinking skills and sound independent judgment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Caregiver-centered approach to care

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
  • 3–5 years of gerontological nursing experience
  • Experience with rehabilitative and restorative nursing care programs
  • Prior senior living, long-term care, or skilled nursing leadership experience

What You'll Do

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality resident care and clinical services
  • Manage and mentor nursing staff while overseeing caregiving teams and daily operations
  • Conduct resident assessments and guide individualized care planning
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local clinical regulations
  • Promote residents' physical, emotional, and mental well-being
  • Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Respond to urgent clinical needs and support resident care outcomes
  • Foster a positive, professional, and resident-centered care environment
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
  • Uphold and promote the mission and core values of American Baptist Homes of the Midwest
