Director of Nursing DON RN

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) - RN to join our team in Elma, IA. Legacy Healthcare is a rapidly growing organization offering competitive wages starting at $90,000 + bonus, comprehensive benefits, and internal growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive the high standard of care expected at Legacy Healthcare by fostering a positive and inclusive facility culture.
• Set and attain Nursing Department goals.
• Inspire and lead the clinical team.
• Create and implement solutions to complex problems.
• Oversight of all aspects of the Clinical Department.

Requirements

• An unencumbered Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, or ability to obtain.
• At least 5 years of R.N. or nursing experience.
• Previous experience managing a department.
• Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
