Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and enhance patient safety.
- Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor patient outcomes and quality indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Mentor, guide, and support nursing staff to foster professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care and optimize health outcomes.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage nursing schedules to meet patient care needs.
- Participate in performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and staff training initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between staff, residents, and families to facilitate communication and resolve concerns effectively.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Proven experience in nursing leadership, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for mentoring and team development.
- Ability to lead by example and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
