About the Role
In this key leadership role, you will help shape the care experience for our residents while guiding and supporting our nursing staff with professionalism, integrity, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all nursing services in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of nursing staff
- Step in to assist on the floor when needed to maintain consistent, high-quality care
- Approve payroll submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor resident records for accuracy and appropriate documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans
- Ensure nursing staff have timely access to equipment and necessary supplies
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to improve performance and outcomes
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of Texas
- Proven leadership experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing
- Strong clinical skills and a restorative care approach
- Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
