Director of Nursing (DON)

Complete Care at Marcella is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team at our 150-bed skilled nursing facility with a 5-star overall CMS rating in Burlington, NJ. This full-time role offers strong regional and corporate support within an established team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing leadership and clinical staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
• Maintain survey readiness and oversee clinical quality improvement initiatives.
• Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to support facility goals.
• Monitor staffing, clinical outcomes, and nursing department performance.
• Promote a positive, accountable, and resident-centered nursing culture.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license or valid compact RN license required.
• Previous Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, and clinical compliance.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead teams, develop staff, and drive positive clinical outcomes.
