About the role
We are currently seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our healthcare team. The position offers a competitive salary range of $147k-$157k.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing and administrative direction for our entire nursing services team.
- Oversee the leadership and guidance of the nursing team in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Ensure appropriate utilization of resources necessary to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments for a coordinated interdisciplinary approach.
- Coach, develop, and lead our clinical team to success.
Requirements
- Must have previous experience as a Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), or RN Manager.
- 3-5 years of experience in a nursing supervisory role, providing direct care to multiple residents, with Long Term Care (LTC) experience being ideal.
- Graduate of an approved RN program.
- Knowledgeable in nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertinent to long-term care.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Environment.
- Familiarity with PointClickCare.
- Advanced education in principles of management and geriatrics or DON certification.
- Leadership principles expertise.
