Director of Nursing - Cavette Hill

About the role

The Director of Nursing provides an administrative and overall managerial authority for all functions (including care delivery activities and training) of the Nursing Department. The Director is accountable to the center’s administrator for the management of the Nursing Department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Nursing Department
• Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
• Provide clinical supervision and support to nursing staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
• Conduct regular assessments of resident care needs and make recommendations for improvements
• Participate in facility-wide quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Licensure Requirement: LPN – graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice nursing in this state.
• Experience: 5 years of LPN experience and 2 years of nursing management experience is required.
