Director of Nursing - Cavette Hill
About the role
The Director of Nursing provides an administrative and overall managerial authority for all functions (including care delivery activities and training) of the Nursing Department. The Director is accountable to the center’s administrator for the management of the Nursing Department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Nursing Department
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
- Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Provide clinical supervision and support to nursing staff
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for nursing staff
- Collaborate with the Administrator to develop and implement strategies for resident care and safety
Requirements
- Licensure Requirement: LPN – graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice nursing in this state.
- Experience: 5 years of LPN experience and 2 years of nursing management experience is required.

The memory care residents are provided the individualized attention they need in a dedicated wing. The building includes two courtyards that allow for safe outside activity.
