Director of Nursing
About the role
Tully Hill Treatment and Recovery is a nationally recognized treatment facility dedicated to treating substance use disorder. We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead and supervise the nursing department.
Responsibilities
- 24-hour management of the Nursing Department
- Directing patient nursing care
- Providing medical education for patients and their families
- Maintaining compliance with facility policy and regulatory standards
- Scheduling, training, and supervising nursing staff
- Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
- Controlling departmental budget and providing 24/7 on-call coverage
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership skills for the Nursing Department
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competency in an electronic medical record and good computer skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Master’s degree preferred
- Valid NYS RN license and CPR certification required
- CARN certification a plus
- Solid medical skills required
- Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorder, detoxification process, co-occurring disorders, DSM criteria and terminology, OASAS regulations, and 12-Step philosophy preferred
- 5+ years supervisory experience preferred

Pay
The salary range is $115,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education/credentials.
