About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our clinical teams. In this role, you will assist the VP of Clinical Services in ensuring the highest quality of nursing care is provided to patients in a home health setting. The DON will play a pivotal role in overseeing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and contributing to the continuous improvement and development of nursing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and management to current field staff
- Assist with the development and application of nursing services, objectives, and policies and procedures in accordance with Federal and State Home Health regulations
- Perform hands-on care as needed, including a hybrid role of direct patient care, on-call rotation, and addressing complaints and resolving issues
- Manage clinical operations and assist in onboarding new patients, developing care plans, and comprehensive assessments
- Assist the VP of Clinical Services with the overall clinical direction and operation of the Nevada region
- Collaborate with other departments for team building and partnership
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration preferred
- Must hold a compact active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 3-4 years of nursing experience required; at least 4 years of experience in home health, nursing leadership, or a related field strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards concerning home health services; experience with Department of Labor a plus
Additional Information
This position reports to the VP of Clinical Services and requires 50% travel.

Pay
$105,000-$115,000 base salary
